Ata Rangi Martinborough.

What they do.

In Te Reo Māori, Ata Rangi means “dawn sky” or “new beginning”. Making wine is all about working in sync with the changing seasons and conditions on the land. For 41 years the incredibly good folk of Ata Rangi have been making wines that capture the essence of their place: Martinborough, Aotearoa-New Zealand. A small, family-owned organic winery with a reputation for pinot noir.

The people, the place and the purpose of Ata Rangi is conveyed through fine wine and concerted conservation.

What we do.

We were initially brought on board to assist with social media communications for Ata Rangi. During that time a brand audit was completed (based on some stellar work already completed by Brown Bread). A decision was made that this heritage brand receive a thoughtful, complementary and considered renovation refresh.

Our objectives were to ensure we retained the familiar essence of Ata Rangi while reflecting their astute style and unwavering commitment to quality while striving to be daring and innovative.

The deliverables included a new website design and build along with streamlining the copywriting to create a more economic yet personal tone.

We also assisted in a rebrand for the iconic Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir wine. An important offering that reflects a deep commitment to Aotearoa’s indigenous trees and plants.

Our work with Ata Rangi continues with Tradecraft overseeing all digital comms, including e-newsletters and social media.

Included is some small project management and supplier management including events and photography.
